DR
Disaster Recovery, the plan and infrastructure for restoring operations at a different site after a major outage.
DR overlaps with HA but is broader in scope, typically covering an entire site loss rather than a single system failure. DR licensing cost depends heavily on whether the standby site runs 'warm' (data replicated, system not actively serving production) or 'hot' (fully licensed and running continuously).
