ALF
After License Fee, the reinstatement penalty IBM charges when a lapsed SWMA contract is brought current again.
ALF is not prorated for the lapse period -- it is a flat penalty, typically 2 to 3 times the annual SWMA cost, charged to restore current-release entitlement after a gap in coverage. A lapsed P10 SWMA contract can cost roughly $10,500 to reinstate as an example.
